Shorelog is an Australian software development company building cloud-based technologies for the marine industry.
Shorelog is a cloud-based e-log book, customisable for every boat to enable owners, skippers and managers to keep their systems, inventory and maintenance up to date and compliant with regulations and racing rules.
Shorelog’s digital log book makes safety management and regulatory compliance easier and more efficient whilst adding features that enhance the resale value of boats. The e-logs come with full vessel inventory and complete maintenance log and planner – with calendar based reminders via electronic notification and email.
Shorelog also helps you keep track of what’s on board – what you need for insurance and warranty claims.
In addition, every Shorelog account comes with the ability to upload and record photos and files such as user manuals, warranties, invoices and receipts.
Shorelog's advanced technology stack is stable and well supported. We use a powerful, mature and well supported open source PHP framework which runs on top of one of the most secure and high performance Linux Distributions.
The core components of Shorelog's website have been developed entirely in-house utilising the best open source components available in the market. This achieves a balance of efficiency, extensibility, and ease of development. Embracing open source technologies ensures future developments are efficient and cost-effective.
Shorelog has selected the most powerful, scalable and competitive cloud server and services provided by Amazon and Google. These guarantee high up-time, availability, redundancy and security as well as competitive pricing which benefits from everyday reduction of hardware prices worldwide.
